eTrex Range
eTrexTruly a small wonder, the eTrex takes the best features of a 12 parallel channel GPS receiver and puts them into a six ounce package that is only four inches high and two inches wide. The eTrex Summit comes on the heels of the extremely popular eTrex, which was designed for both marine and recreation use. This new all-in-one navigation device for the outdoor enthusiast is the first combination GPS, altimeter, and electronic compass. The electronic compass provides bearing information when you're standing still and the altimeter determines precise altitude, so you can tell how high you've climbed and your rate of ascent. The Summit has all the useful features of the standard eTrex. The case is completely waterproof to withstand immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. With the eTrex Legend™, GARMIN has loaded a basemap of Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. The basemap contains rivers, cities, and coastlines. New to the product design, GARMIN will include marine aids to navigation in addition to the basemap. These navigational aids will be pre-loaded into each unit from the factory. The Legend has an extra high resolution LCD (160 x 288 pixels) and contains an 8 megabyte storage capacity for Mapsource™ data downloads. A PC cable is also included with this unit for up & downloading of data from Mapsource™
The eTrex Camo has all the features of the eTrex with the following added features: built-in database which recommends the best times to fish and hunt at any of your waypoints. It also has the trip computer to calculate your current and average speed, as well as times for sunset/sunrise, moon & tide phases and a camouflaged case. This would best suit the hunter of fisherman.

The Venture has an extra high resolution LCD (160 x 288 pixels) and with a memory capacity of one megabyte it can also accept a partial download from Mapsource™ of Australian major towns and cities.
